What a beautiful indoor Kingsmill wedding in Williamsburg Virginia.    An overcast rainy day forced the ceremony events to take place indoors, but of course, at the most exclusive resort in Williamsburg, the staff is prepared to make adjustments to fit any situation.  It was a small intimate group of family and friends to witness the joining of hands of two beautiful people as Rhonda and Kyle entered into marriage.  Speaking of family and friends, Rhonda and Kyle are blessed to have such wonderful people in their lives.    It was such a pleasure being there with this beautiful group of people while we captured their memories during the afternoon.  Thank you to Rhonda, Kyle and family from Cindy, Cristen, Crystal and Drew of ZH Studios for having us there and being a part of your special day there at Kingsmill Resort on the James River in Williamsburg.

Erin Dexter & Matthew Buikema - September 20, 2008
What an extraordinary Saturday evening at Warner Hall in Gloucester, VA.  First, it was a nice cool temperature for a September evening.  And then the gorgeous sunset in the sky off the west wing and at the same time, a stunning rainbow as we looked over the east wing of the always amazing Inn at Warner Hall.  Oh yea!  There was this wedding that just happened to be there at Warner Hall on the same evening.    Two very special people, Erin and Matt.  We as wedding photographers get to know our clients, the bride and groom as friends and sort of like family by the time we get to the wedding day, meeting once or twice before the wedding along with all the phone and email conversations.  Having gone through that process with Matt and Erin, I knew that this was going to be a very special evening and wedding at Warner Hall.  Beautiful people who just plain enjoy life.  Matt and Erin, it was a beautiful evening and you, family and friends were perfect.  We have to make note also that Troy, Theresa and the staff always do such a great job with these special evenings.    Cindy, Cristen, Crystal, and Cindy would like to thank the Dexter and Buikema families for using ZH Studios.

Stephanie Crouch and Tayler Burgess - September 13
An amazing afternoon and evening at Ford's Colony Williamsburg, VA.  Cindy and I always feel extremely privileged to be a part of these ceremonies; to capture the images and moments; to show the story of promises, passion and love; the start of the wonderful journey of marriage! This ceremony was no exception.  Stephanie and Tayler had every little detail planned.  It was PERFECT!  The entire evening...    They were perfect!  The wedding party, kids, families, and friends made Ford's Colony a night to remember.  The ladies were on fire on the dance floor.  I thought at one point and time that we would need a fire extinguisher to put the fire out that the ladies were creating on the floor.  The reception... well, can you say PARTY!  What a lively and fun group!  We would like to thank the Crouch and Burgess families for giving us the opportunity to help them capture the beautiful ceremony and amazing evening at Ford's Colony.  We've included a couple images below and will let you know when all the proofs and album showcase are posted here on Drew's Blog.

Imani Jackson & Luis Colon - July 19, 2008
Hello everyone, Drew here... the wedding photographer from Finley Photography hired by Picture Perfect Photography from Yorktown, VA.  We have to apologize for taking so long to post the images, but we went on three weeks vacation starting on July 20th.  This wedding was amazing to us, not just because of the beautiful people and the wonderful Omni Hotel in Newport News, but because it was all put together within a two week period.  I have to say that Latoya Jackson did an excellent job as wedding coordinator in putting it all together.    As for the bride and groom, Imani & Luis were stunning and the wedding party attendants were beautiful and so much fun to photograph.  We were not able to make the photo session at Yorktown Beach, but it was suggested to use the area in front of the Ferguson Center for the Arts at Christopher Newport University and it proved to be an excellent choice, as you'll see when you look at the proofs.    Stayed tuned in for the proofs and the album showcase which will be posted later this week.  Thank you so much for using Picture Perfect Photography and Finley Photography to capture your special day memories.  We would also like to thank Cristen and Crystal of ZH Studios of Williamsburg and Gloucester for putting this collage together and also adding the proofs and album to my blog.

Kerri Steele & Russ Quick - August 2, 2008
Hello everyone, Drew here!    The Kingsmill Resort on the James River is always busy with people here and there.  And even though stormy weather threatened that afternoon on August 02, Kerri and Russ stepped outside, the storm clouds parted with the sun shinning through and people stopped what they were doing to watch as two beautiful people prepared to exchange their vows.    Kerri was absolutely stunning and Russ was handsome as family, their  adorable children and friends looked on, as they entered into marriage with the beautiful resort golf course and James River in the background.  We want to thank you for using ZH Studios to capture your precious memories on that special day.    Below is a small sample of the images and we will let everyone know when Russ and Kerri's showcase album is posted on the blog.
